Flash4 invests in ABG Digicon digital finishing system
The purchase marks the latest milestone in a partnership spanning several years and reflects FLASH4’s continued confidence in ABG’s technology.
August 18, 2026- A B Graphic International (ABG) has further strengthened its long-standing relationship with FLASH4, a US-based label converter. FLASH4 has invested in an ABG Digicon digital finishing system.
The purchase marks the latest milestone in a partnership spanning several years and reflects FLASH4’s continued confidence in ABG’s technology, engineering, and customer support.
FLASH4’s experience with ABG began with two pre-owned turret rewinders – one glue and one glueless – which gave the company its first exposure to the quality and reliability of ABG equipment. In 2020, the relationship expanded significantly with further investment in several new ABG turret rewinders and Omega converting equipment. Since then, ABG has become an increasingly important technology partner as FLASH4 has expanded its production capabilities and pursued greater automation.
Dino Valentino, CEO of Flash4, says, “At FLASH4, we don’t buy equipment based solely on specifications. We invest in companies that share our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer success.
“ABG equipment has proven to be extremely well-built, reliable, and designed for real-world production environments,” he adds. “Just as importantly, the people at ABG stand behind what they build. From sales and installation through to service and parts support, we’ve always felt they were invested in our success.”
The latest Digicon investment is closely aligned with FLASH4’s investment in HP Indigo V12 technology and its strategy to develop an advanced digital label and RFID manufacturing platform. After evaluating its options for digital finishing, FLASH4 selected Digicon for the flexibility, automation, and capabilities required to support both current production and future growth.
Valentino continues, “As we evaluated the best path forward for digital finishing, both our own research and recommendations from HP pointed us toward ABG. Our objective isn’t simply to add equipment. It’s to build one of the most advanced digital label and RFID manufacturing platforms in the industry. Digicon plays an important role in that strategy, allowing us to efficiently produce everything from blank labels to highly enhanced digital products while improving workflow and productivity.”
Matt Burton, global sales director at ABG, adds, “FLASH4 is a great example of how we aim to work with our customers over the long term. As their business and production requirements have evolved, we’ve been able to support them with technology that increases capability, efficiency, and automation.
“The fact that Dino and the FLASH4 team continue to invest in ABG is a fantastic endorsement of both our equipment and our people. We’re proud of the trust they have placed in us and delighted to be supporting the next stage of their growth,” Burton concludes.
